The Last Post

This is the last post in this era of the site. As of tonight 18 Sept 2007 this site becomes an archive. I have for a while been contemplating changes to some thing or other on the site but always changed my mind at the last moment, daunted by the size the website had got to and the amount of patch work that any update would require. So I decided to start afresh.
Having invested so much time, effort and thought here in the last few years I have come to love this blog and consider it a piece of me, albeit small and digital. This is the reason of moving this site to where it is now, for posterity. To be able to come back and browse and remember when I’m feeling cybernostalgic. Like an old diary hidden in the back of a drawer if you like.
Although I’m looking forward to a new start, a small sadness for what I leave behind blemishes this happiness. Like the feeling I get on new year.
I hope you enjoyed this part of the trip as much as me.
